School counselors are certified/licensed educators who improve student success for ALL students by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program. School counselors are vital members of the education team and maximize student success.

Services Provided

• Individual Counseling

• Crisis Management

• Mediations (between peers and teachers)

• Community Resource Referrals

• Consultation and coordination with parents and families

• Classroom Lessons (college/career readiness, personal safety lessons, study skills, social emotional awareness, Naviance training)

• College & Career Readiness - (assisting with college application process)

• Monitoring academic progress of students

• Facilitating parent/teacher conferences

• Articulating meetings with feeder middle schools

• Scheduling with classes

• Case Managing 504 Plans

• Working with administration and teachers to increase academic success
