As we head into the holidays and wrap up our first semester of the 2025-26 school year, we have a special Spirit Week planned.

Football Finishes 5A Runners-Up
The Canyon View football team completed the most successful season in school history by finishing runners-up in the 5A conference for the 2025 season. The Jaguars finished 11-3 on the season, which was culminated by a loss in the State Championship game to Desert Mountain at Mountain America Stadium.
Cheer Shines at State Competition
Canyon View High School’s cheer program delivered a standout performance at the AIA State Championships, finishing as the state runner-up in the Game Day Division II Large category. It was the team’s first time competing in this division, and they walked away with a runner-up title plus a Specialty Award for Original Band Chant, marking a major milestone for the program. Canyon View’s All-Girl Stunt group also fared well by earning a fourth-place finish in state.
Jags Make Their Mark At State
Canyon View athletes delivered strong performances at the Division II Cross Country State Meet. The girls team finished in fourth place overall, their best finish in school history.
Sophomore Taelyn Janssen continued her breakout year by placing fourth overall, while classmate Reid Barisich secured a state medal with a top finish of her own.

Whether you’re in the stands, on the sidelines, or in the game — we all play a part in creating a positive atmosphere at our athletic events.
